My name is Jeffrey Jarrett and I’m glad you’ve stopped in. I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist. I provide psychotherapy to individuals and families in the beautiful city of Spokane, WA. I specialize in working with teens, adolescents, college students and their families. I help to heal psychic wounds and bring families closer to the harmony they desire.
Is your child or family struggling with a difficult life transition? Have you or your child or young adult come up against a situation that you think may be leading to depression, anxiety or other mental health challenges? Are you a college student having a hard time navigating a new world of independence and responsibility? Please contact me so that we can determine what I can do to help.
If you have been in therapy before and are facing new challenges you think could be helped by therapy, then you know the drill. If you are new to therapy and feeling anxious or awkward about seeking help, you are not alone. Looking for a therapist you connect with can be an arduous process for some. For others it is easy; they connect with the first person they meet. Either way, I am skilled at making this part of the journey as smooth as possible, while allowing you the space to come to your own decisions.
Please browse my site and seek out the information you are looking for. If you don’t find it, please call/text me or send me an email so we can talk and I can begin to allay your concerns. Then, when you feel you are ready, we will meet in person.
Who Am I?
I am an empathic, serious listener when my role calls for it, and a simpatico companion in life’s journeys. I don’t look on my role as a “fixer” or “solver”, I believe I am here to help you find those solutions and fixes. As we all know, it is frequently difficult to see the forest for the trees. I’m here to help you do a little hedge trimming so your vision is less obscured.
